Taino'ti Estate, Carriacou: where nature & luxury co-exist.
Discover the epitome of secluded luxury within Taino'ti. Two homes nestled within an expansive acreage of pristine landscape. Immerse yourself in a tropical paradise while enjoying the utmost privacy and tranquility. Each of the houses was architecturally designed to combine a harmonious blend of modern comfort and rustic charm.
With the ambience of a spacious chalet, The Garden House is 3,852 sq. ft. spread across three floors, with an additional 2,288 sq. ft. of exterior space. The lower level, leading directly onto the garden is designed as a self-contained unit with a large en-suite bedroom, kitchenette & storage. The rooms open onto a separate, open-air patio used for alfresco dining and lounging. The other two floors are connected by an open plan staircase, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of the bedrooms being en-suite. The eaves of the building have been tastefully designed as sleeping pods for youngsters. All bedrooms and sleeping pods throughout each floor are air conditioned. The living spaces of The Garden House are all fan cooled and the open plan design allows the tropical breezes to flow through the house. There are two large seating areas, a study area, kitchen/bar, a rooftop terrace and a covered outdoor dining room. The kitchen and bar are entirely bespoke featuring soft close, top-grade veneer and birch ply cupboards with solid Iroko counter tops, a double sink, built-in dishwasher and bin, and a sectioned marble counter top for pastry making. The living room and two of the bedrooms open onto the expansive timber pool deck and a pebble-lined pool with in-pool seating area and stainless steel spout feature. From the deck, breathtaking, westerly facing sunsets and sea views are captured. A special feature of The Garden House is a separate shaded deck suitable for yoga or evening cocktails and a linen storage room which can be upgraded and converted to a gym or extra bedroom. Another timber out building houses an office and a workshop. The laundry is housed in the pool pump room. Hot and cold water run throughout the property and though a mains electricity supply is connected, Taino'ti enjoys the convenience of a 28KVA single-phase diesel-powered generator for back-up.
The second home on Taino'ti is Gum Tree House which enjoys 754 sq. ft. of interior space and 882 sq. ft. of exterior. Gum Tree House is a timber clad, bespoke Heb House designed specifically to blend into the landscape. An antique, French, terracotta tiled terrace guides from the upper gardens to the steps down to Gum Tree House. Completely private and separate from The Garden House, it enjoys a private driveway, private pool and timber pool deck overlooking a remarkable ocean view. Featuring 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, a laundry area and an open plan kitchen/living room that open onto the pool deck through glass sliding doors. The kitchen of Gum Tree House is a fully equipped galley kitchen with marble counter tops and an Iroko counter top on the bar peninsular. Air conditioning is installed in the bedrooms and fans in both bedrooms and living spaces.
Each of the homes has a large built-in cistern (8 feet in depth) for water storage and all the electricity wiring for the property is below ground allowing for uninterrupted vistas. Wifi is available throughout both homes and their terraces.
With vast grounds just shy of 6 acres that invite exploration, this retreat set within an idyllic location, offers the possibility of further expansion within its boundaries in order to create your own bespoke haven amidst the untouched beauty of nature.
