Many of its architectural features are inspired by the Caribbean and its surroundings. The estate is fully fenced, closed off on two sides with high walls, a gated entrance, and 24/7 security (no service charge!) for the individual looking for exceptional privacy. Villa Mandaris is entered through its own entranceway and garden that combines a lush landscape, flora, and fauna for added privacy. There are 3 bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, each with its own bathroom and island views. A large kitchen with three worktops and a bar area allows for plenty of space and socializing whilst cooking. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area allows for both indoor and outdoor alfresco dining with a combined terrace. The large living room and adjacent covered terrace that spans nearly the length of the house is perfect for after-dinner drinks or to sit and read a good book whilst taking in the views. On those hot days, the pool allows cooling off from the heat of the day, or take a walk in the shadow of the greenery of the garden and enjoy the taste of the plentiful fruit trees including mango, papaya, coconut, banana, guava, lime, soursop, and star fruit. The back of the house provides space for a maid’s quarter, washing area, and workshop. The Guest Cottage has its own separate access from Villa Mandaris and offers three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The master bedroom offers not only views of the Caribbean Sea and the island but also towards the neighboring island of Martinique to the north. On the bottom floor, the large kitchen offers views directly into the garden and overlooks the infinity pool and deck area, perfect for poolside entertaining. The dining area provides space for hosting a large number of guests and boasts great night views of the island with all its lights. The roofs of both houses were changed 5-6 years ago from wood to a plastic composite, ensuring durability and low maintenance. The property has an average nightly rental rate of US$350 with an average booking duration of 10 days and currently has 20 bookings already secured for 2025.
